Agreement

By using FindItSA (finditsa.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

What FindItSA is

FindItSA is a free platform connecting people who've found lost items with the people who lost them. We provide the listing, claiming, and messaging tools — we are not a party to any handover, and we do not verify ownership beyond the claim-review process described on the platform.

Your responsibilities

• Post listings and claims honestly. False claims of ownership are fraud and may be reported to the police.
• Don't include ID numbers, card numbers, or other sensitive identifiers in a public listing or claim — the platform rejects these, but you're responsible for what you write elsewhere (e.g. in a message).
• Arrange handovers safely — meet in a public place during daylight hours where possible. FindItSA does not mediate or guarantee handovers.
• Don't use the platform to harass, scam, or impersonate anyone.

Moderation

We reserve the right to remove a listing, reject or escalate a claim, or suspend an account that violates these terms or looks fraudulent. Moderation actions are logged internally for accountability.

No liability for handovers

FindItSA facilitates introductions between finders and claimants — we are not responsible for the condition of an item, the conduct of any user, or any loss, damage, or dispute arising from a handover arranged through the platform. Use common sense and meet safely.

Account suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for fraud, abuse, or repeated violations of these terms. You can stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time — see our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
